Are XanderGlasses rechargeable? How do they charge?

Charge XanderGlasses with the USB-C cable included in the XanderGlasses kit.

Your XanderGlasses come in a hard clamshell case that contains a USB-C cable and square power brick. Simply connect the charging cable to the USB-C port at the end of the glasses, then connect to the power brick and charge.

When the charge on the glasses has diminished completely, it takes about 2 hours to recharge to 100%. Please note: We ship XanderGlasses with a partial charge but please charge them fully before the first use. This may take up to 2 hours.

Regularly Check Your Xander Captioning Glasses Battery Level

There are two ways to check the battery level of your glasses.

1. While the glasses are plugged into the charger

Look into your glasses and briefly click the power button. You’ll see a battery level indicator one power bar or less indicates a low battery. A full stack of power bars indicates a full battery.

2. While wearing the glasses during normal use.
Look at the battery level indicator in the status bar at the right corner of the bottom of the display. The status indicator shows the charge level of the battery. 100% represents a full charge.

If it helps, it is safe to leave the glasses charging overnight.
